Afternoon twitter friends. How’s your Saturday? Anyone experiencing the hot weather out side? Let’s talk about it in #EngTips! :D

Talking about the weather can be a good ice breaker and conversation starter. It is easy, simple, almost everyone understands it.

To ask about the weather you may say: “What’s the weather like?” “What is it like out side?” “How’s the weather?”

There are many ways to answer those questions about the weather. You can use verbs or adjectives.

Some examples using verbs: “The sun is shining.” “It’s raining.” “It’s pouring.” “It’s snowing.” “It’s drizzling.” etc

Please interrupt anytime if you don’t understand any word we’ve mentioned.

Some examples using adjectives: “It’s sunny.” “It’s hot.” “It’s warm.” “It’s cloudy.” “It’s windy.” “It’s rainy.” “It’s cold.” etc

You can also predict the weather by saying: “I think it’s going to rain.” “I think it will rain.” “It will clear up soon.”

Some useful phrases to say that the weather is nice: “Beautiful day, huh?” “Lovely day, isn’t it!” “The weather is nice today!”

Some useful phrases to say that the weather is bad: “The weather is terrible!” “What strange weather we’re having today!” etc

Berbicara ttg cuaca adlh cara yg baik utk mengawali pembicaraan krn mudah dipraktekkan, sederhana, & hampir semua org memahaminya.

Utk menanyakan bgmn cuaca hari ini, kamu bisa bertanya: “What’s the weather like?” “What is it like out side?” “How’s the weather?”

Ada byk cara menjawab pertanyaan ttg cuaca td. Kamu bisa menggunakan verb (kt kerja) atau adjective (kt sifat).

Bbrp contoh jawaban menggunakan verb: “The sun is shining.” “It’s raining.” “It’s pouring.” “It’s snowing.” “It’s drizzling.” dll

Silahkan interupsi kpn saja utk bertanya ttg arti kata.

Contoh jwbn menggunakan kt sifat: “It’s sunny.” “It’s hot.” “It’s warm.” “It’s cloudy.” “It’s windy.” “It’s rainy.” “It’s cold.”

Kamu jg bisa membuat prediksi cuaca dgn mengatakan: “I think it’s going to rain.” “I think it will rain.” “It will clear up soon.”

Bbrp frase utk mengatakan cuacanya bagus/ menyenangkan: “Beautiful day, huh?” “Lovely day, isn’t it!” “The weather is nice today!”

Bbrp frase utk mengatakan cuacanya buruk: “The weather is terrible!” “What strange weather we’re having today!” dll
