Hello twitter friends! Do you know what proverb is? A proverb is a short well-known expression that states a general truth or gives advice.

Tonight let’s talk about proverb, shall we!

Halo twitter friends! Apa kamu tau apa itu ‘proverb’? Proverb: ungkapan pendek terkenal yg menyatakan kebenaran umum atau memberi nasihat.

“Beauty is only skin deep.” Arti: karakter seseorang itu lebih penting drpd penampilannya. #EngClass

“Easier said than done.” Arti: segala sesuatu yg disarankan pasti terdengar mudah, pdhl sesungguhnya lebih susah utk dilakukan. #EngClass

“Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.” Arti: belajarlah dr pengalaman, jangan mengulangi kesalahan yg sama. #EngClass

“Home is where the heart is.” Arti: rumah adalah tempat orang-orang yg kita cintai berada. #EngClass

“Ignorance is bliss.” Arti: apa yg tidak kamu ketahui tidak akan membuatmu kuatir atau sedih. #EngClass

“Knowledge is power.” Arti: pengetahuan memungkinkanmu utk bertindak atau melakukan sesuatu. #EngClass

“Money is the root of all evil.” Arti: uang adalah penyebab utama perbuatan buruk atau masalah. #EngClass

A: @hanizachri hi Hani. Can’t say clichés (boringly repeated phrases) = proverbs (useful sayings). Unless you think they’re boring. #EngQAs
